Tasting note

Deep ruby red color, brilliant and with a dense leg.

Pronounced and complex aromatic intensity with aromas of violets, dark berry fruits like blackberries or black currants, low forest, and spices like vanilla, chocolate with an elegant background of smoked wood, very subtle and well integrated, indicating aging in high-quality French oak barrels.

On the palate, it is a wine with volume, with a meaty and structured entry, intense and powerful, yet balanced and velvety, with strong acidity, soft ripe tannins, and a tasty and long-lasting finish, where the notes of ripe black fruits, spices, and bush herbs reappear.

A complex wine with aging potential. Serve at 16ºC.

Joan Manuel Ochogavia

Schon während seines Studiums, das er als technischer Landwirtschaftsingenieur abschloss, hat Joan Manuel in den Semesterferien und während Praktika auf verschiedensten Weingütern gearbeitet und praktische Erfahrungen gesammelt. Im Jahr 2010 begann er an der Seite von Rosa Pons in den Weingärten von Can Axartell. Als 2012 eine neue Fachkraft für die Position des Kellermeisters gesucht wurde, war Joan Manuel prädestiniert für diese Tätigkeit, die er mit großer Umsicht und Hingabe ausübt.
